I’ve always loved sugar cookies because you can shape them into anything you want, and my kids love them just as much, especially when

they get to be part of the fun!
But one day I started wondering… why don’t we do that with other cookies?

The problem is, most cookies spread in the oven (including chocolate chip cookies), so you can’t really shape them ahead of time.
So I decided to try something new! I baked a sheet pan of cookies and shaped them while they were still warm. It turned into such a fun little kitchen moment for all of us!
However, not everything came out perfect! The bunny ears fell off our bunny, and the top fell off our carrot! But honestly, that just made it even more fun. The kids were laughing, and we still ended up with delicious cookies in the end.
Later, I had the idea to add some vanilla buttercream frosting and sprinkles, and I think it turned into something really beautiful! I love how little kitchen experiments like this can turn into something special.
