What kind of food coloring/dyes do you use?
We try to refrain from coloring the buttercream and prefer to use sprinkles instead. However, if color is desired, we can use Watkins Assorted Food Coloring, which contains no artificial dyes and is made with 100% natural vegetable juices and spices. The following colors are great for natural food colors: pink, light blue & light green.*Please note that natural food dyes cannot achieve bright or bold colors. If vibrant colors are requested, we can use regular food dyes upon request. *Note: Our orange-colored sugar cookies and cupcakes are made with Wilton FD&C Food dyes, not natural food dyes.
